Better Never
Having children is immoral. It is better never to have been.
But what of the joys of life, however fleeting? Only at the cost of immense suffering. Even before your first breath, sickly wet and ragged, your mother suffered for your pitiful existence. As you were manhandled by strangers, you were both a victim and a cause of suffering.
Conscious existence is inflicted upon others. Pain and degradation echo through reality, each of us a selfish epicenter.
If you resist the biological imperative, you spare not only the child but countless others. And it’s at no cost to them, for they wouldn’t exist to be deprived of any experience whatsoever.
One hundred years ago, we were not, and we were fine with it. We missed nothing.
But now? Now look at us.
